Untitled_Co is the studio practice of designer and maker Cody Hughes, now based in Philadelphia, with roots in Brooklyn where the studio first took shape. Cody designs all of his pieces through an artist’s lens, working at the intersection of utility and art to create goods for the home that elevate everyday experiences. At the center of his work is a deep respect for the planet. Cody works primarily with reclaimed industrial discards and responsibly sourced materials, using these constraints to push him into a new way of creating, transforming materials that have been cast aside into beautiful, functional objects. The name Untitled_Co is Cody’s tribute to artists who let their work speak for itself. His products are named after artists who have inspired his passion for creation and pursuit of art that is limitless. By marrying traditional craftsmanship with modern production techniques, his work coalesces into unique, heirloom-quality pieces designed to be lived with and used over time.
