Teresa Audet Studio

Teresa Audet is an artist and educator based in Pittsburgh, PA. Her sculptural and functional works combine woodworking and basketry, with a background in furniture making with a focus on hand tools and fine craft. Her work looks at object-making as a meditative and transformative act, and focuses on joy, play, and resilience. Audet grew up in Minnesota, received a BFA in Furniture Design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and an MFA from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Museum for Art in Wood, has been shown at the Smithsonian Craft Show, and has representation from Chaos Contemporary Craft.
